Mt. Arayat is the mountain bounded by the municipalities of Arayat and Magalang, in province of Pampanga. The twin-peak dormant stratovolcano mountain is located less than 100 kilometers north of Manila. The Peak 1, with the altitude of 920 meters above sea level, can be reached through a trail from Arayat, while Peak 2, rising to a height of 1026 meters above sea level can be accessed from Magalang, Pampanga.
The Mt. Arayat, considered by the locals as a mystical mountain dominates the flat, agricultural land of the central plain of Luzon Island, Philippines.
